Mailart 365 has moved

Today's mailart advises that things are moving and what to plant in March alongside a photo of Victorian children plus a £5 Queen Victorian orange stamp taken from an old stamp album, all set against some leopard print.

Children round the postbox (and not a computer, shock horror!)was taken from a shoes advert in a magazine. I then recently rediscovered these letter stamps and pieces of postal ephemera stickers so put the two together - now just got to get those kids making some mailart to put in the post box!

Infrared photography makes this composition special. I love the orange sky contrasting with the white landscape, which makes the twin girls really pop!

Another composition showing what's good and decent about the American way of life. I work with the different elements to get the same color tone to simplify & unify the overall effect.

Loved this composition when I finished with it. It struck me as peaceful, innocent, & charming.

This is my absolute favorite quote ever. I'm a history major, and it sums up everything I feel about history in one single quote. I chose newsboys because I do, after all, run a newspaper! I'm giving an 8x10 framed copy of this print to our publisher & our head of human resources for Christmas!
