I sent a package to someone that collects Hello Kitty, so I tried my hand at drawing a card in that style...

This Zentangle card I made to go into a Wichtel-package. The recipient collects hearts, her favorite colors are yellow and blue....

In Germany when you're sure of something you say "I'd put my hand in the fire for it".....this is a newspaper collage about that statement.

Oh I haven't blogged for a long time. Being extremely busy lately. But I've been creating from time to time so I'll try to catch up with posting.

I draw this one, in pen, from one of Andy's comic book in a bus waiting room. I'm still not confident enough to draw from real life yet. I know I know I need more practice and I'll get there but at the moment what I really need is time to make all the stuff I want too.

I got hold of an old philatelic magazine from 1976. Unfortunately, all the photos are in black and white but there are several of some test booklets that say "For Testing Purposes Only" in the frames. I hope to use them all in the next few days with my vinyl street sign letters.

I don't usually include decorated envelopes in my 365 but, I figure if I'm this far behind a bit of boundary pushing is in order.

When Amelia said to me she was making a digital 365 using orange dots I really didn't know what she meant until she showed me this piece - it all makes sense now!

I always have fun doing Zentangles, they are so mediative.

It's a funny thing on this one, depending on which way you rotate the card, you see different things....
It wasn't intended to be anything specific, so I guess it is whatever you see in it...

I just started out with pen. No, it's not perfect. I didn't pre-sketch anything, just went wild, and despite its flaws I like the result LOL

Finally! A card with which I'm thoroughly happy about the way it turned out! Zentangled all the way, this one took a few hours...

I came across this quote and love it....so I turned it into a card!

This doodle card features the lyrics to a Song called "Chewing gum" by "Annie".

I must admit I had a bit of a creative block, so for some days I did nothing or just simple doodles...

An envelope I made for a birthday card which I also made, then forgot to photograph before mailing, alas. And an envelope that I sent to maryhassound a while back.

Hannah made this from scratch yesterday afternoon using all her own stuff and imagination!
