Oh I haven't blogged for a long time. Being extremely busy lately. But I've been creating from time to time so I'll try to catch up with posting.
I draw this one, in pen, from one of Andy's comic book in a bus waiting room. I'm still not confident enough to draw from real life yet. I know I know I need more practice and I'll get there but at the moment what I really need is time to make all the stuff I want too.
August 16, 2011. Colors of the rainbow to brighten the day of our
friend Laurence. He is recovering well and enjoys getting mail art
from us. Be sure to include an envelope with your return address, and
he may be able to reply. All the best of health to Laurence!
I got hold of an old philatelic magazine from 1976. Unfortunately, all the photos are in black and white but there are several of some test booklets that say "For Testing Purposes Only" in the frames. I hope to use them all in the next few days with my vinyl street sign letters.
Couldn't sleep last night, good time to catch up on mail art.
I was inspired by superhero's Dead Mailart blog. Zombies are fun and its really easy to make fashion ad's into zombies: markers, scissors and of course glue. I made the originals in my art journal. I scanned them and printed them as artistamps.
