Trying not to fall behind during finals week... eek!

The kids were quite pleased with how well their magic worked on the neighbors. Corvus, the blind crow, struggled to remain still until served one of the lovely frothy beverages. He knew he'd pay for that accidental claw to the head later.

Found a shiny red gift tag(doesn't really show how shiny on the scanned image), added the "Life. Be fit for it" tagline from a gym flier and then stuck these sporty stamps round the outside.

I love this time of year. My daughter & I go to the local nursery every April & load up on annuals and make our front porch look awesome. I love coming down the road after a long day at work and seeing the beautiful display by my front door!

Just thought this would make a pretty composition.

I read today that there are these books called "Jakata Tales" in India where there are stories about animals doing things and at the end you find out one of the animals was the Buddha. A minute later I found this image of a monkey riding on the back of a motorbike and I thought the moral must be...

Inspired by the song "Price Tag" by Jessie J I've had this idea lying around for a while and have now finally got it all together. Very easy to find the "price tags" as they are absolutely everywhere in adverts wherever you look. So the lady may sing "it's not about the money, money, money, forget about the Price Tag" but unfortunately it does tend to come back to that or am I wrong?!

Infrared photography makes this composition special. I love the orange sky contrasting with the white landscape, which makes the twin girls really pop!

I love white, which technically isn't a color. When I saw these two photographs, they begged to be joined in a celebration of iconic white!

Another composition showing what's good and decent about the American way of life. I work with the different elements to get the same color tone to simplify & unify the overall effect.

Loved this composition when I finished with it. It struck me as peaceful, innocent, & charming.

Mailart 365  . 102.  It's spring.  Do a little dance, play a little ball, and don't forget to plant the tomatoes.

Mailart 365 - 101.  One of my favorite cards to make, this one is going to my friend Nicole in Plano, Texas.   Bubble wrap, sheer fabric, paper, rickrack, glow-in-the-dark thread, rose petals, twig that looks like a wishbone.

Watch out for those speller birds, they'll steal your letters! Front and back of a piece I sent to my mom, a retired elementary school teacher.
